A certified nursing assistant (CNA) is an entry-level healthcare worker and a great way to start your career in healthcare. CNAs can work in a wide variety of health care environments, including hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, mental health facilities, and schools. CNAs work under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, like registered nurses (RNs) or licensed practical nurses (LPNs).
